The Utah Dixie Detachment #1270, of the Marine Corps League, requests your presence on November 10, 2011 as former and active Marines get together to celebrate the 236th anniversary of the birth of the United States Marine Corps.  This will be a fun evening filled with activities, dinner, pomp and circumstance, story-telling, prizes, the official birthday ball cake ceremony, dancing, and other great surprises.  All branches of the service are WELCOME to this event as is the general public.  Response to this year’s invitation has been strong, so please secure your tickets immediately.

If you’ve never been to a Marine Corps Birthday Ball you don’t know what you are missing.  Come see for yourself what members of Detachment #1270 think of their beloved Corps.  It’s a lifetime love affair, undeniably so.   Marines are devoted to their Corps, forever, and this is how we intend to keep the spirit and tradition alive!  Veterans from all branches of service are incredibly proud of their country, too, and that’s why we invite you to join us!  We all love America and what it stands for, and celabrating the birth of the Marine Corps is really all about rallying behind the United States of America and expressing our insatiable taste for freedom!

This year’s Birthday Ball is priced at $25 per person, and it is time to get your check to me so I can issue your tickets.  Please mark your calendar for November 10th, 6PM (that’s 1800 to you veterans out there who never got used to using a ‘civilian’ clock).  Next, drop me a check with the appropriate dollar amount to cover you and your guests at $25.00/person.  The Ball is held at the Sun River Community Center in Saint George, a very accessible location for anyone.

Please mail your check to:
