The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has joined with the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Defense to launch a training program for transitioning servicemembers and veterans called “Operation Boots to Business: From Service to Startup,” to help them become entrepreneurs and create jobs. Through the Boots to Business initiative, servicemembers will learn the nuts and bolts of how to start and grow a business. They will also be introduced to the SBA’s nationwide Resource Partner network for support throughout the lifecycle of their new business.
