We have tried to make this web site as user friendly as possible.  One of the ways we think we’ve accomplished this is by providing a ‘window’ at the top of the column on the left side of the Home Page, where you can simply insert a word that matches the topic you are interested in.  For example, if you want to know what’s in this web site concerning PTSD, simply put PTSD in the window, click on Search, and the system will bring up all articles inside that are related to PTSD.  If you want to know more about Veteran’s Angels, do the same thing and up will come all articles related to Veteran’s Angels.  And so on.

Another feature of this web site is the Contact Me link.  Clicking on Contact Me will bring up a page that asks for you to identify yourself to a limited degree, only so that we can contact you back if we need to.  This is also the area where you are welcome to make comments or submit an article that you’d like to see published on the web site.  If your article is lengthy, we would prefer that you call us to make arrangements on sending your article by e-mail, especially if you have any photos you want published along with your piece.  One of the reasons we do not have an Open Forum for dialogue on this site is we are trying to avoid any heated political or religious debates.  So, if you do send something in, please be sure that these subjects are missing.

Under the heading of Veteran’s Corner you will notice that this is where the bulk of the articles are posted.  If you send us an article to post this is where it will land.  If you read an article that you’d like to comment on immediately, simply hold your cursor over the Title of the article and ‘click’.  Then, scroll down to the bottom of the article where you’ll find a window for your comments.  It’s easy!

Further down on the left column of the Home Page you will see some links to other organizations that may be able to help you with any problems related to being a military veteran.  If you know of a good program/web site that we may have missed, we’d appreciate a shout back so we can get it posted for other veterans to take advantage of.  We are always open to new ideas and suggestions that will help us serve our fellow veterans better.  Thank you for your support and interest in Southern Utah Vet’s Aid.
